Most importantly, our Clinical Data Manager is responsible for managing all data management activities, from start-up to database lock, across multiple global clinical trials while ensuring quality and compliance standards are aligned with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Data Management Practices, and Cyberonics standard operating procedures. In addition, you will be an integral part in the creation and oversight of the new CDASH standards initiative.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Clinical Informatics, the Clinical Data Manager must be able to work quickly and very accurately with keen attention to detail in order to accomplish the data management strategy. A Clinical Data Manager for Cyberonics needs to have at least 3 to 5 years background in Clinical Data Management in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry. This needs to include specific experience in CDASH standards, handling complex external data, and keen collaboration and negotiation skills. Technical expertise must include knowledge of both paper and EDC data collection systems. A degree in a life sciences field is preferred, but comparable accomplishments in project management or business management will be considered.
