GeneDx is rapidly growing CLIA-Certified diagnostic genetics laboratory. We provide cutting edge technologies for genetic molecular diagnostics and offer vital, new-platform products in the critical area of molecular diagnostics. We specialize in genetic testing for rare hereditary disorders, but also test for common disorders. Our primary mission is to make clinical testing available to people with rare genetic conditions and their families. Because of our tremendous growth, we are in search of outstanding candidates with background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or chemistry.

We are looking for energetic and organized entry level laboratory assistants interested in human genetics and molecular biology. You will work as part of a team performing chromosomal microarray and/or exon arrays, qPCR, and MLPA for the purposes of detection of deletions/duplications at the chromosome and/or exon level, and determination of genotype in clinical DNA samples.

Requirements: 

Requirements for Array Technologist:
• Bachelors degree in biology or related field
• Experience in working in a molecular biology lab (preferred, but not required)
• Good problem solving skills, excellent organizational skills
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Attention to detail
This position may require work during alternate hours such as late evenings/nights and weekends.

Compensation: Starting base salary is $32,500 + 15% shift differential.
