The Manager / Sr. Manager, Publications Management, is responsible for leading a REGN cross-functional team and jointly leading a team with our partner company to develop, manage and execute the publication plan of one or more therapeutic areas. This will involve the efficient and timely planning, development and submission of clinical manuscripts, abstracts, and scientific meeting presentations, in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, clinical investigators, and medical experts.
- MS, PharmD, or PhD preferred
Required experience and skills:
At least 6 years in the area of medical communications or publications management. Some or all of this experience should be from a pharmaceutical company; additional experience in a medical
communication agency is a plus. Must have led and managed a cross-functional publication team to develop and implement therapeutic area-specific strategic and tactical publication plans.
Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects efficiently, in a timely manner, and with attention to detail, are important. Must have maintained and updated publication plans and provided summary reports to stakeholders. Should be able to edit, format, and submit manuscripts, abstracts, posters on behalf of authors. Should be able to guide and oversee publication vendors, contract writers and editors, and be familiar with drafting publication budgets.
Excellent professional interaction with clinical, statistical, and regulatory experts in developing publications is required. Familiarity and compliance with Good publication practices is needed, as is a good understanding of clinical study design, research and development,
