We are seeking a Process Development Associate/Engineer to work in the Purification Development group within Pre-Clinical Manufacturing and Process Development.
This person will be involved in purification support throughout the product development cycle from preclinical through licensure with an initial focus on:
- Purification of diverse non-clinical molecules to support reagent needs for Regeneron’s research and discovery groups
- Development and optimization of purification process steps from harvest to drug substance at small and intermediate scale
- Small-scale evaluation of key process steps for clinical manufacturing processes including external viral clearance studies
Additional responsibilities include development and optimization of therapeutic monoclonal antibody purification steps and process transfer to Regeneron’s manufacturing facility at Albany, NY. The position may require travel (10-20%) and occasional work on weekends.
Experience and Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in biochemistry or biotechnology and 0 - 5 years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Level is commensurate with experience
