Job Description: 

- Responsible for the implementation of all marketing activities within NGS transmed space (both CLIA and core labs) according to a defined marketing plan set by the marketing director and team and in line with QIAGEN marketing strategy and policies.
- Has to understand the local markets in order to develop regional marketing plans and develop and communicate vision and direction across regional business.
- Will be held accountable for customer class revenues/product revenues.
- Develops, implements, measures and provides marketing insight and direction to optimize marketing tactics and ensure results are within budget and provides continuous improvement feedback to global marketing.
- Manages market research needs for NGS and Ingenuity product lines within the NA comm ops team.
- Responsible for analyzing data and making regional tactical plans.
- Communicates clear tactical marketing activities to defined internal and external customers.
- Providesfeedback for product expansion to global marketing.
- Measure and influence that service levels to internal/external customers meet or exceed expectations.
- Implements well understood marketing activities to meet the business needs.
- All activities must be stored, monitored, measured, reported and reviewed to ensure active follow up, accountability, ROI and part of an interactive process.
- Manage and report regional & local marketing costs and budgets.

Requirements: 

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree equivalent in marketing and preferably a degree in science.
- Minimum 3+ yrs of relevant experience managing tactical marketing plans & projects.
- Experience in working in a matrixed environment a plus.
- Must have strong communication and presentation skills
- Depending on the product line previous lab experience may be required.
- Proven experience in NGS sector, including gene expression and mapping
- Strong time management and organizational skills is required
- Willingness and ability to launch complex products into a defined environment a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a fast paced environment is a must.
