•Experience in Life Science research required.
•5+ years of successful sales management experience in the life science tools/scientific instrumentation market. Must have demonstrated achievement of quota goals.
•5+ years of direct capital equipment sales experience for products with sale price >$100K is required.
•Experience with selling to director and higher level customers with strong rolodex in pharma and biotech accounts.
•Ability and motivation to overcome obstacles for every sales opportunity while creating a win-win result with customers is necessary. Must be highly performance driven to drive sales results.
•The proven ability to attract, retain, and motivate high achieving salespeople. Demonstrated excellence in sales representative development.
•Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with many levels of employees within various departments. High level of computer proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is required. Experience in Salesforce is ideal.
•Bachelor’s degree in a Science field required.
•PhD or Masters degree in a Science field an advantage.
•East Coast (PA, NJ, NY, CT, or MA) based.
•Ability to travel adequately to cover the area including up to 50% overnight stays, co-travels, attend tradeshows, as well as corporate and regional training meetings.
