Ardea Biosciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of AstraZeneca, is headquartered in San Diego, CA. We are a biotechnology company focused on the development of small-molecule therapeutics for the treatment of serious diseases.

Ardea is searching for a Sharepoint Administrator to join the team.

The overall responsibility is to provide support and administration of corporate Intranet and Extranet, and daily support and maintenance of applications based on SharePoint 2010.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Build, enhance, and maintain SharePoint 2010 and 2013 environments.
Provide SharePoint training to individuals and groups.
Manage system patching, upgrades, security, and content databases.
Maintain user access for SharePoint.
Document SharePoint configurations and architecture.
Administer and maintain sites and sub-sites.
Provide some development support for new web parts.
Manage site layout, structure, and content and build new site templates.
Other duties as required.

Requirements: 

At least 4+ years of SharePoint administration experience.
Hands on experience with Active Directory 2008 in a corporate environment.
Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2.
Ability to build SharePoint environments from the ground up.
Knowledge of virtual servers and implications with SharePoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical requirements.
MCP/MCTS SharePoint a plus.
