Overview:
This supply chain professional will help us grow to support the rapidly expanding pipeline of novel drugs as well as our commercialized products. This position works very closely with internal teams, external vendors, and suppliers to ensure that all key raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods are available to meet all clinical and commercial demands. We are seeking someone with experience managing multi-product environments with many SKUs and building mature supply chain capabilities - people, process and infrastructure is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Manages supply chain management activities (inventory, materials planning, sales/operations planning, etc.)
- Defines and implements supply chain management best practices
- Actively leads effectiveness and continuous improvement efforts
- Creates a dashboard of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to develop and track metrics to measure performance and improve efficiency
- Proactively identifies potential business issues and/or supply constraints, develops risk mitigation plans, etc.
- Assesses the organization (staff) and structures it to support commercialization and launch strategies
- Ensures quality throughout the network.
- Designs and delivers complexity reduction concepts (e.g., rationalization, component standardization).

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA is a plus
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations
- Experience assessing and remediating supply chain management capabilities. Specific knowledge of the core processes (e.g., S&OP, PPIC), skills (e.g., W/H management), and infrastructure (e.g., computer system, warehouse design).
- Demonstrated experience serving as a leader in supply operations; demonstrated ability to create a vision of the capabilities and then lead a group to that state
- Specific knowledge of the core processes (e.g., S&OP, PPIC), skills (e.g., W/H management), and infrastructure (e.g., computer system, warehouse design).
- The ability to drive continuous improvements to systems, processes, practices or procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to be able to engage confidently with key stakeholders at all levels across the organization. Must be effective in influencing decisions and multi-functional priority setting across boundaries and executing strategy and tactics
- Detail-oriented; ability to understand what needs to be done and execute accordingly
- Working and demonstrable knowledge of make-to-stock and make-to-order concepts with the ability to put them into action
- Import/export expertise and cold chain familiarity
- Deep experience assessing, picking, securing, and managing external partners; for example, contract fillers, packagers, 3PLs. Experience with strategic sourcing
- Knowledge of supply chain contract design along with the ability to negotiate terms with partners (i.e. service level agreement concepts, forecasting requirements, and useful terms to capture contractually)
- A sense of passion and commitment for delivering things as quickly and efficiently as possible. The ability to think and operate in a rapidly evolving and ambiguous environment

- Demonstrated experience accomplishing goals and delivering results through the management of subordinates
- A change agent capable of recognizing mediocrity, defining required changes, and delivering decisively
- Travel is required, approximately 20% - 40%
