Job Description: 

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and selling the company’s products and services in the assigned territory. The ISR must have basic sales skills, at least one year of directly related diagnostic sales experience, knowledge of QIAGEN products and some basic diagnostic molecular biology applications. The ISR must be able to manage a territory, close opportunities and develop a plan to achieve assigned quota. He or she should be comfortable selling to laboratory directors, medical directors and finance.


- Bachelor Degree in Life Science preferred
- Minimum one year of laboratory experience, or proven aptitude for molecular laboratory techniques
- At least 1-year of experience as Associate Inside Sales Representative, MDx with proven sales record or 1-year of sales experience in Diagnostics, preferably Molecular
- Wide range of knowledge of diagnostic molecular biology applications and products. Knowledge of QIAGEN products preferred
- Proven ability to sell to Laboratory Directors, Medical Directors, and Finance
- Must have knowledge of Diagnostic regulatory requirements, reimbursement guidelines and RUO and ASR parameters
- Must be fluent in French
- Excellent listening, presentation and verbal and written communication skills at all business levels
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to accurately forecast business at assigned accounts
- Ability to develop and execute business planning
