SeqWright, Inc. is looking for a talented, highly-motivated, team-orientated individual, who is interested in a long-term career in the biotechnology industry. The Inside Technical Sales Representative is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, preparing and sending quotations, and following up with prospective and current customers. Other duties include staying up to do date on current technologies and applications, acting as a liaison for large projects by coordinating between multiple departments, gathering internal resources for the outside sales team, and occasionally attending trade shows/conferences. This is a great position to learn the ins and outs of the biotech industry with plenty of room for growth.
Desired Skills/Areas of Expertise:
Bachelor degree in biology or related field.
2 or more years of molecular biology laboratory experience (DNA sequencing experience preferred).
Knowledge of or desire to learn about next-generation sequencing technology and FDA/GLP regulatory services.
Excellent customer service and time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Able to respond to and resolve client inquires in a timely and effective manner through extensive communication with customers.
1-2 years of sales experience is a plus.
