Summary
The Senior Sales Analyst will help drive Sales and Commercial Operation's strategic and operational needs by providing analytical support in the following areas, but are not limited to: sales reporting, planning, targeting, territory alignment, incentive compensation, competitive data, and business process.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing analytics for all data related to sales and sales force performance
- Ensure accurate reporting and crediting of sales to sales force and Sales & Marketing management
- Ensure timely distribution of weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports
- Manage sales and managed care territory alignments. Periodically, work with field sales management to ensure optimal alignment.
- Provide analytical support for decision making of sales planning, targeting, marketing campaigns, performance ranking, incentive compensation
- Administer the incentive compensation plan in an accurate and fair manner
- Manage the incentive compensation budget and provide ad-hoc reports
- Develop, monitor and continuously improve metrics and measurements for tracking sales results
- Proactively identify reporting needs of the Commercial organization
- Work with IT Business Intelligence department to ensure data/report availability and accuracy
- Work with Customer Service to assist with their reporting and analytical needs for their operations
- Work with Commercial cross-functional team to identify, analyze, and improve processes which may affect the Sales and Commercial Operations organizations. Assess business impact

Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum of 5-8 years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or diagnostics (i.e. Sales Operations, Sales Administration, Commercial Analytics or Market Research)
- Strong analytical & statistical skills with the ability to manage large quantities of data
- Excellent attention to detail in reporting and analysis
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels
- Ability to produce reports and presentations with complete & coherent analysis and sound recommendations
- A strong track record of being able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritization of tasks
- Proven creative and critical thinking aptitude/ability
- Ability to assess and communicate potential enhancements to business processes
- Ability to build sales, financial, or compensation models/scenarios in MS Excel
- Understanding of the oncology marketplace and the sales process of an oncology sales force is highly desirable
- Bachelors degree is required
- Technical mastery of MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Visual Basic is a plus
