The Engineer I is responsible for monitoring and improving the reliability of production equipment and support systems. Scopes, plans and executes multiple projects simultaneously. Supervises a staff of 2-3 hourly technicians that resolve equipment operational issues, investigate PR's, complete CAPA's and remediates audit observation response items.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field with an under-standing of basic equipment or facility operations
- 3-5 years experience in Maintenance or Engineering
- Excellent communications skills in oral, written, and presentation situations providing clear, informative, and persuasive communication in positive and negative scenarios.
- Good analytical and computer skills required.
- Must have a thorough understanding of CGMP's.
- Exercise leadership/diplomacy in a team-oriented environment when coordinating and working with all levels of employees and contractors.
- Ability to manage assigned funding according to project commitments and budgetary commitments, to assist in development of plant capital plans for future facility/production improvements.
- Technical expertise in equipment operation, process requirements, regulatory issues, computerized documentation, and controls logistic.
- Capable of managing highly skilled personnel in testing, evaluating process changes, equipment/facility repairs/ equipment modification.
- Able to identify opportunities for equipment improvements, develop remediation plans, and develop project scopes and timelines.
