A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Genome Sciences Centre at the BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) to study epigenomic programming processes as a novel approach for cancer therapy.
The successful candidate will have recently completed graduate studies in a PhD or MD/PhD program with a strong research and publication record in the biological sciences. Experience in molecular biology, cell biology, tissue culture or animal tumor models, is required and familiarity with drug screening is a plus. The fellow will join a laboratory with a focus on leveraging the availability of cancer genomic data to couple drug candidate discovery with the underlying genotype of the tumours being evaluated to identify novel therapeutic targets.
