The Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is an integrated biomedical research institute with a focus on applying genomic approaches to gain fundamental and translational insights into gene regulation, stem cells and development, human genetics, infectious diseases and cancer. We are seeking to broaden, expand, and deepen our existing expertise in computational biology and bioinformatics (http://www.gis.a-star.edu.sg). Candidates for Principal Investigator positions are expected to have significant experience in the analysis of genome-wide/cell-wide biological datasets and to have demonstrated originality and excellence in their work. While we seek individuals to establish independent and creative research programs, we also expect that they will take advantage of the vibrant collaborative culture and shared goals within the GIS.
We have immediate openings and expect to fill several junior and senior faculty positions over the next few years. We welcome applicants in all areas of Computational and Systems Biology. Areas of particular interest include: Regulatory Genomics, Network Analysis and Modeling, Epigenomics, Cancer Genomics, Comparative and Evolutionary Genomics and Statistical Genetics.
Applicants should submit a CV, a statement of research interests, and the names of three references by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
