Under NIAID's BRC Restructuring, Fewer Centers Prep for More Data, Tackle Transfer Challenges

The BRCs, which previously focused on sequence data, will now support expression data, proteomics data, and data relating to clinical phenotypes. A reduction in the number of centers will require some of the pathogen data and tools at the discontinued centers to find new homes at the funded BRCs.
