NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – AnaSpec said this week that Biocom Biotech will serve as non-exclusive distributor of the firm's catalog and custom products throughout South Africa.


TriLink BioTechnologies this week said that it has relaunched its oligonucleotide radiolabeling services, just a few months after it had discontinued the service. The firm said that "strong customer feedback" persuaded the firm to re-start the services.


Transgenomic will work with iMedicor on developing an educational marketing program for Transgenomic's NuroPro diagnostic tests for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. The firms said that the online, alert-based program will target neurologists, gerontologists, and primary care physicians.


Myriad Genetics has launched a hereditary breast and ovarian cancer public awareness campaign in five Midwest states including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, and Ohio. The campaign is intended to raise the profile of the firm's BRACAnalysis test for detecting the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene.
