Mass. Fiscal Woes Rattle State's $1B Life-Sci Act; Lawmakers OK Budget Cut from $15M to $10M

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center will see its budget cut from $15 million to $10 million under a $27.4 billion spending plan approved by state lawmakers Friday, and awaiting the signature of Gov. Deval Patrick, who signed the life-sci act into law on June 16, 2008.
